Amanda S. Davison, CEO

Amanda S. Davison is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is currently serving as a practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients as well as the CEO of The Family Connection LLC. Among her areas of expertise are Couples, Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and assisting people with a variety of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Autism Spectrum and Trauma. Amanda is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) Protocol.

Amanda is an interactive, Experiential Family Therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges and to help them become who they were meant to be. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Sandra Rivera, LMFT
Albuquerque Regional Director

Sandra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Master’s in Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family. Sandra is currently serving as a provider with a wide range of experience in the field as well as the Regional Director of the agency. Areas of expertise include Crisis Intervention with all age groups, Children, Couples, and Family Therapy. Her special areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, family, addiction, and legal issues.

Sandra is a Structural Family Therapist that joins a family to address the unhealthy patters of interactions that create problems within families by changing the family structure, and improving communication, boundaries, and interaction among the family members. Sandra believes in empowering her clients to make change through connection, and advocacy! Sandra is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Natasha Moharter, LPCC, NCC

Rio Rancho Clinical Director

Natasha is an independently licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She graduated from the University of New Mexico with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Counseling. During her time as a graduate student, Natasha was one of only a few selected by the National Board for Certified Counselors to be a scholar in their Minority Fellowship Program. She also served from 2013-2014 as President and President-Elect of the UNM Chapter of Chi

Sigma Iota, the International Honor Society for Counselors & Counselor Educators.
Natasha practices from an experiential theoretical orientation and values genuineness, transparency, and honesty. She believes in meeting clients where they are in their life and developing with clients realistic, healthy, and intentional goals for whatever situations they may be facing. Natasha encourages clients to be active in their counseling and life changes while she provides additional support. Additionally, Natasha works to encourage and build resiliency in clients so that clients may continue to thrive once counseling has terminated. Natasha is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Nathan Interial, LPCC

Nathan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, he received a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Nathan has experience working with couples, individuals, and children. His special areas of interest include PTSD and trauma, depression, marital issues, anxiety, and substance abuse. Nathan is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Chris Mayton, P-LCSW

Chris is a native New Mexican, providing services in the Albuquerque, Rio Rancho area since 1980. She obtained both of her degrees from New Mexico Institutions; New Mexico State and New Mexico Highlands University. She is a licensed Master Level Social Worker. Her special interests include: addiction, depression, anxiety, and problematical relationships. Chris is committed to assisting clients to improve the quality of their lives by affecting meaningful change. Chris is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Kylie Montoya, LMHC

Kylie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She obtained a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from the University of New Mexico, specializing in clinical mental health counseling. Kylie has a background in treatment foster care and crisis intervention with children and adolescents. Kylie is passionate about working closely with clients to establish personal growth and stimulate self reflection through the therapeutic relationship, which includes support, building client resilience, and discovering new meaning through exploration of the clients life narrative. Kylie’s areas of special interest are adolescents, eating disorders, depression, trauma, grief and sexuality. Kylie is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Jammie Stone-Stevens, LAMFT

Jammie is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Brandman University specializing, in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling. Jammie’s therapeutic background includes conflict resolution, in-home stabilization for youth and their family, crisis intervention, and working with both youth and adult forensic populations. Areas of special interest includes: trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and life-span development. Jammie provides individual, couple, family therapy for youth and adults with an integrative approach of cognitive-behavioral interventions within a family systems framework. Jammie is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Angelica Villacana, LCSW

Angelica has earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM. Angelica is currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Mexico. Angelica has experience in outpatient mental health (child, adolescents, adults, couples and families), substance abuse (adolescents and adults) as well as collaboration with the juvenile justice system. Angelica has also provided day and night crisis on call/intervention and has received EMDR training. Angelica is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Obtuve mi Licenciatura (2007) y Maestría (2008) en Trabajo Social de la Universidad de Nueva México Highlands en Las Vegas, NM. He estado en el campo desde 2009 con experiencia en salud mental ambulatoria (niños, adultos, parejas y familias), abuso de sustancias (niños y adultos), así como la colaboración con el sistema de justicia juvenil. Durante mis 9 años en el campo también he proporcionado crisis diurnas y nocturnas de guardia/intervención y he recibido capacitación en EMDR. En diciembre de 2018 me certifiqué en Reconsolidación del Protocolo de Memorias Traumáticas (RTM) para tratar los síntomas relacionados con el TEPT.

Amber Vigil, LMSW

Amber is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She obtained her Master’s Degree from New Mexico Highlands University Facundo School of Social Work with a concentration in clinical social work. Amber’s education also includes psychology, family studies, and sociology. Amber’s background had been providing In Home Services to include interventions and safety planning for families, specifically safety planning around the children. Amber also spent some time doing school social work at the elementary level. Her special areas include working with children with a variety of eligibilities including children with autism, ADHD, oppositional behavior, etc. Amber provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, using strength based and family systems perspective. Amber is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Jennifer Bogart, Clinical Intern

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Family Studies from the University of New Mexico. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Jennifer also completed coursework in Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University. Her focus has been on working with children and adolescents, clients who have experienced trauma, couples, and families. Jennifer provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults as well as counseling for couples. Jennifer is certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) protocol.

Dena Silcox, T-LMHC

Dena is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a master’s level School Counselor. Dena has a background in working with children, teens, and individuals. Dena enjoys working with young girls and women on self-worth and self-esteem, as well as helping clients to recognize and examine negative beliefs, uncertainty, and anxiety. She does this with the goal of alleviating painful feelings and working with clients towards constructive change. Dena believes Attachment theory is crucial to the healing process, including understanding how the parent-child relationship develops and the impact it has on subsequent development. Dena is also a certified in Reconsolidation of Traumatic memories (RTM) protocol to treat symptoms of PTSD.

Danielle Burke, LMHC

Danielle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She obtained her Masters in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Danielle has almost 10 years experience working with children and families. She believe in utilizing a strengths based approach to support client with building resiliency skills. Her special interests include depression, anxiety and trauma.

Shannon Spilsbury, Clinical Intern

Shannon is in her last year of graduate school referred to as “internship” where she is allowed to practically apply theory and concepts learned during her three-year graduate program with Capella University. She has chosen to specialize in Marriage and Family Therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University in 2017 and went right into the Master’s program. She provides individual, couple, and family therapy for all age groups which include children, adolescents, and adults. She follows a solution-focused approach.

Shane Louton

Shane is a Master’s level social worker. He obtained his Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration from New Mexico Highlands University. Shane has a background working with individuals, families, and groups with attachment issues and trauma histories. His special areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, and attachment. Shane approaches treatment from a strengths-based perspective with the goal of client empowerment.
